OOC: I'm so confused, can we start over?
Let's do some quick bullet points and a lot of gifs on Buck because 9-1-1 isn't that complicated of a show and he's not really that complicated of a character.
- Is from the Fox show 9-1-1, which follows several branches of emergency services. Buck belongs to the 118 firefighter squad
- He takes his job very seriously. Like, he breaks down if it's suggested that he might not be a firefighter and he might sue you for suggesting it
- But seeing as he's on a Ryan Murphy show his job consists of things like saving sharks, mudslides, babies in pipes and capturing rogue turkeys:
- For the most part he is a very easygoing, idiot savant of a himbo
- Can't do math, but has a deep knowledge of natural disasters after surviving a tsunami to the face
- Is leaving behind the 118 for a new experience, but will likely be in constant contact with them since they are his family (partly literally, as the father of his niece is a coworker). Yes, he is an actual Uncle Buck
- Just one of the nicest dudes. Sometimes his mouth runs away from him but it comes from the heart
- Is also pretty buff. He actually passed the physical portion to become a SEAL, but was too emotional for the job in the end
- He also has a distinctive birthmark over one eye. He's heard all of the jokes about it, and it doesn't bother him
Parental types tend to flock to him because he is kind of an adorable idiot, and he's leaving behind his work mom and dad, Angela Bassett and Peter Krause so THE SPOTS ARE OPEN
This show is mindless fun, and I recommend it to anyone but do not take it seriously in the least.
